Hi I’m Rebekah!
I’m Rebekah Leonard, a UX designer from Bangor, NI who has recently graduated from Interaction Design at Ulster University with a first class honours including a distinction in professional practice.
I am passionate about understanding people’s needs, behaviours and motivations to create thoughtful, user centric digital experiences. I particularly enjoy combining user research and interaction design to solve problems and create digital experiences.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching and playing football or going to the theatre to watch a musical!

Experience
Johnson Controls | UX Product Design Intern
At Johnson Controls, I worked as part of the UX team based in Belfast, USA and India. I worked alongside UX designers, researchers and engineers to create desktop and mobile based security platforms, that would be used by a global client base.
I initially started this role for my university placement year before being offered a two month extension and then a part time contract during my final year of university.
